Dearest Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss spills creativity and imagination into classrooms everywhere while promoting entertaining literacy opportunities. Reading is critical to the success of every student. The more creative you can get as a teacher, the more interested students will be in learning.

Repetitive Rhymes: “Hop on Pop”:

Memorable Maps & Confident Careers: “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”

Goofy Glasses & Owls on Noses:"I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”

Branching out with Digital Media:

Oceanhouse Media offers this Dr. Seuss camera app.  Dr. Seuss Camera
(The Cat in the Hat Addition.) You can add it to your iphone, ipod touch, or ipad camera. The fun filled frames are available with several Dr. Seuss characters and imagery.

Nothing compares to hard cover books when reading to your class, while I love my books I am intrigued by the generous support and advantages that technology provides.

As Bill Gates once said, “The people who resist change will be confronted by the growing number of people who see that better ways…are available thanks to technology.”

One of my favorite places to find Dr. Seuss teaching resources is the author’s personal website: Seussville

"So...get on your way!" ~ Dr. Seuss
